Right of withdrawal

The customer has the right to terminate the distance purchase agreement within 14 calendar days after receiving the product, without giving any reason, free of charge. The period mentioned in this clause starts on the day after the customer, or a third party designated by him, other than the carrier, has received the product, or:

• if the customer has ordered multiple products in the same order: the day on which the customer, or a third party designated by him, received the last product;
• if the delivery of a product consists of multiple shipments or parts: the day on which the customer, or a third party designated by him, received the last shipment or part;
• in agreements for regular periodic delivery of products: the day on which the customer, or a third party designated by him, received the first product.

1. The customer is responsible for the return costs. If these costs are higher than the regular postage rate, Petrebels provides an estimate of these costs. If the customer returns an entire order, the costs will be refunded to the customer excluding the shipping costs.
2. The customer handles the product and packaging carefully. This means that the customer only opens the packaging and uses the product only to the extent necessary to inspect the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product. This inspection must never go beyond an inspection that the customer can do in a physical store.
3. The customer is liable for any depreciation of the product if its use goes beyond what is allowed in the 3rd clause of this document.
4. The customer can terminate the agreement by sending the (digital) model withdrawal form to Petrebels within the period specified in the 1st clause or by making it clear in another explicit way that he is canceling the purchase. Petrebels confirms the receipt of a digital notification.

Once the customer has indicated that he or she is canceling the purchase, they have 14 days to return the product to Petrebels. The product can also be returned earlier, provided that the return shipment is reported, and the model withdrawal form or other clear statement of withdrawal is included with the return shipment.

6. Amounts paid by the customer (in advance) will be refunded as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after the termination of the purchase agreement, in the same manner as the customer paid for the order.

If the customer has chosen a more expensive method of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery, Petrebels is not responsible for the additional costs.

Unless Petrebels picks up the product itself, Petrebels may wait to refund until Petrebels has received the product or until the customer proves that they have returned the product.
