Petrebels Quality 🐾
We design every scratching post and every cat furniture piece ourselves. This is done by our own design team in the Netherlands. That’s what makes all our products unique.
We also produce as much as possible ourselves. Unfortunately, that’s not possible for everything. That’s why we work with trusted suppliers while maintaining full control over all materials used.
Sisal is a natural material used to make rope. We only use extra-thick sisal rope with a minimum diameter of 5.2 mm for our scratching posts.
This makes our scratching posts and cat furniture last much longer.
Yes, absolutely. It determines the lifespan of the scratching post or cat furniture.
That’s why we only use thick, high-quality plush.
We’ve found that gluing certain parts, like sisal and plush, works better.
This makes it harder for cats to damage the product, allowing our scratching posts to last up to 30% longer than others 🛠️
Our scratching posts are always heavier than average. This is because we use extra-thick base plates.
The exact weight varies per model, but you’ll always find it in the product description.
It’s simple: a thicker base plate makes every scratching post more stable.
Since we focus on quality, we always use base plates between 2 and 5 cm thick.
Cats sharpen their claws multiple times a day and love to stretch. But they can only do that if the scratching post is tall enough. A large cat needs a taller scratching post than a small one. Many cats also love sitting up high to keep an overview.
Tip: measure your cat (with stretched legs) before choosing a scratching post. That way, you know they’ll truly enjoy it.
There are many different types of cats—and just as many scratching posts. Choosing the right one can be tricky.

While many brands use chemical dyes, we use natural coloring. That means it’s 100% safe for your cat and more environmentally friendly 🌱 As with all natural products, discoloration may occur with prolonged UV exposure.
No, due to the materials used, our scratching posts are designed for indoor use only. Besides… outside, nothing beats a real tree 🌳😸

Shipping & Delivery 📦
Orders placed on business days before 15:00 are shipped the same day 🚀
Delivery time depends on the country and product, but typically takes 1–2 business days.
Some large or heavy products are shipped via pallet transport. In that case, delivery takes 2–4 business days.
Yes 👍 Once your order leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive an email with tracking details.
This allows you to see exactly where your order is and when to expect delivery.
We work with carriers such as DPD, DHL, DACHSER and GLS.
Depending on the size of your order, we choose the most suitable carrier. Your Track & Trace will always show who is delivering your package and when.
Since we work with external carriers, a specific delivery time cannot always be guaranteed.
Want delivery on a specific business day? Add a note during checkout—we’ll do our best to make it happen.

Since these are handled separately by carriers, they may not arrive at the same time. No worries—the rest usually arrives the next business day 📦

We can hardly imagine it 😉… but of course, it can happen that you want to return your order. No problem at all!
Just notify us within 14 days. After that, you have another 14 days to send your order back to:

Of course 👍 Once you notify us of your return, the purchase agreement is legally cancelled. From that moment, you are entitled to a full refund, including shipping costs. We will process your refund within 14 days after receiving the product.
However, we reserve the right to deduct any loss in value if the product has been used beyond what is necessary to assess its nature, characteristics, and functionality.
Return shipping costs are your responsibility. You can choose any carrier you prefer.
The costs usually depend on the size and weight of the package.
We always follow the legal warranty requirements. This means your product should do what you can reasonably expect from it. Of course, it’s never fun if something isn’t right. If you have a complaint or you’re not satisfied with your purchase, let us know right away or drop by. You can always return your product within 14 days, without giving a reason. We call this the Petrebels right of withdrawal 😉

This depends on how intensively—and by how many cats—it is used daily. It also depends on whether your cat is an indoor or outdoor cat. Outdoor cats fulfill much of their scratching needs outside, so they mainly use the scratching post for resting. Indoor cats use the scratching post for all their scratching needs, which leads to faster wear.
Cats are creatures of habit and often have one or two favorite spots. These areas (usually sisal posts) wear out faster, while the rest may still look like new.
Good news: you can order replacement parts individually, so you don’t need to buy a completely new scratching post every time.
Yes, you can wash them in the washing machine at a maximum of 30°C.
In most cases, yes—depending on the model.

Yes, that’s possible. We offer special filler rings to replace the hammock. Contact our customer service and we’ll help you out.
Yes, because it’s a natural product. Some brands use chemical dyes to prevent discoloration, but we choose safe and pet-friendly coloring instead. Cats may bite or lick the rope, and with our natural dyes, that’s completely safe.
