Welcome to Petrebels!

Who are we?

We are a small young dynamic team with a lot of energy and passion. We put this passion 100% into project cats! But it is much more than a project. Making cats all over the world happy with cat trees is a feeling, a mission, a life’s work. We love cats and put all our know-how into it.

We have existed since 1 March 2017, when Petrebels was founded by Dennis and Detlef. Both have many decades of experience in the pet sector and have made Petrebels a business of the heart through their experience, knowledge and love for cats. From the beginning, the motto has always been: we don’t follow trends – we set trends!

The two are supported by a competent team of more than 10 employees, who by now certainly have more knowledge and competence than the two founders. But the two will never admin that ?

Petrebels is based in Schijndel, the Netherlands. We have a large warehouse there and ship our cat trees from there (if necessary) all over the world. We also have a large showroom here where all current models are on display and can be put to the test.

What do we stand for?

Our speciality lies in the development of modern cat trees that both cat and cat owner can enjoy.

The focus is on robust quality, a safe supply of spare parts, a high level of service, high employee and customer satisfaction and our mission to ensure lots of fun and enjoyment.

For us, there are no problems, for us there are only customers we satisfy. And customers for us are, of course, first and foremost the velvet paw on the one hand and the cat lover on the other. Because what the cat likes and does well should also be beautifully integrated into the interior and living atmosphere. Both in terms of colour and style. We have succeeded in this!

What do we have to offer?

We see our core competence in developing and designing scratching posts. That is where our roots lie and that is what we know. But in addition to scratching posts, we are also highly competent in the development of modern cat litter, which we have launched with our brand “Dirty Rebels”. Our latest highlight can be found in the “House of Heaven” category. Here you will find beautiful cat benches and lounges made of polyrattan, which can be used both indoors and outdoors.

We stand for stable, high-quality and durable scratching posts, modern design, durability and a perfect spare parts service. You only buy a cat tree from us once: in fact, you can buy spare parts from us for at least 10 years. Even if the product is out of our assortment!

She plays a critical role in monitoring the financial health of Petrebels. A pet lover (she has 3 cats – Tommie, Freddie and Pip), she brings head and heart to the Petrebels family.

The sunshine of the Petrebels team, Simone handles all customer service needs with a smile. Her love for pets and people are a perfect combination for her valuable role at Petrebels. She is a true perfectionist and stops at nothing to make sure that our customers are satisfied. She lives by her Charlie Chaplin creed: “A day without a smile is a lost day!”

Developing online marketing strategies, working on SEO, SEA and optimizing our website are no problem for this versatile Rebel. Tom brings an extra dose of experience to motivate the rest of the team, whether it’s from his main office in Schijndel, or his second home in Bali.

Ronan has a lot of experience in the pet industry, which makes him a real professional. He likes to go fishing and he lives close by the sea. We are all very jealous…

Klaus is our gray eminence and German sales representative. He has decades of experience in sales and supports our German pet shops with help and advice. He also always has an open ear for us colleagues. In his leisure time, he loves to sit in his garden by his pond and just relax.

Chérie is the first person you encounter when you call, email or visit Petrebels. Even before you grab the door handle of our showroom, she is ready with a smile and a cup of coffee. This purebred cat lover can even be found in our warehouse. There she ensures that the right spare parts reach the right address.

The nerve center of the Petrebels team, Maarten takes care of every aspect of our distribution center. Reliable and a true optimist, Maarten is a treasure and everyone at Petrebels loves to work with him. He takes good care of everything and everyone.

Frank is an enthusiastic Rebel with a humorous side. Energetic and attentive, he takes care of all incoming and outgoing goods. This proud father runs through the warehouse as if it were a football pitch. He is even drier than a roll of biscuits and walks with a jar of salt in his pocket for his lame jokes.

Darek is the newest member of our warehouse team. Picking orders, unloading containers, checking returns and making bad jokes are no problem for this strong rebel. No job is too tough for this Polish workhorse; a real asset to our team!

Bas is a reliable stronghold in our purple warehouse. He is always in for a joke, except when it comes to picking orders (which he takes very seriously). He also loves cats, sometimes you can even hear him meow in the distance. Thanks to his experience, all packages are sure to arrive to their destination safely!

This creative jack-of-all-trades is bursting with initiative and can be found working on all sorts of projects at Petrebels. He loves filming and editing videos just as much as he hates having his photo taken. If you’re looking for Stefan, he’s probably stroking a cat or playing video games – sometimes even both at the same time.

Our second youngest Rebel Bodi: creative and energetic. He knows everything about social media, video editing and graphic design. With great enthusiasm, Bodi will be taking a close look at everything in order to give Petrebels the most modern look it deserves.

With over 20 years of experience in the pet industry, he has the know-how when it comes to dealing with all roads that lead to the far east. A China supply chain specialist. This stubborn fluff ball is the face of our brand. Our beloved mascot, he has been with us and the brand since the day he was born. Everyday he puts all of his effort into his scratching-, playing-, climbing- and sleeping talent to elaborately test our cat furniture.
