Where to place a tall cat trees in your home?

If you observe closely, cats almost always walk from the kitchen to the living room in the same way. This is an 'invisible' path you can take advantage of. Naturally, you should place your tall scratching post where you find it most beautiful. If your Rebel isn't immediately enthusiastic, place it in the 'walking direction' of your cat. It may not be practical or aesthetically pleasing, but do this for a day or 2-3, and you'll see your cat start scratching. Once this happens, you can move your scratching post back to where you prefer. Tip: If the cat tree is so tall that it almost or entirely reaches your ceiling, it's better to assemble it with two people!
